Visa and residence permit application processing fees must be paid to the Embassy's bank account in Nigeria. It is not possible to pay the fee in cash at the Embassy, or to pay the fee to a bank account in Finland. The fee can be paid to the Embassy's bank account either in cash, or via bank transfer.
The fee can be paid in cash in any Standard Chartered Bank branch in Nigeria to the Embassy's bank account. The original receipt of payment must be presented to the Embassy.
The fee can also be paid to the Embassy's bank account via bank transfer. The processing fee can be paid either in Nairas or Euros through the appropriate account. Kindly observe that the full amount of the visa or residence permit processing fee must be credited to the Embassy's bank account. Any bank transfer fees are the reponsibility of the payer.
The processing fee must have been paid in full into the Embassy's bank account before the visa or the residence permit can be applied for. The original bank slip of the payment must be personally presented by the applicant at the Embassy when applying for the visa or the residence permit.
There is no reference number used for the payment of the processing fee. The narration on the payment should include a freeform message in English regarding the content of the payment and the name of the applicant, for example "Visa processing fee for <Name of applicant>" or "Residence permit processing fee for <Name of applicant>".
